WHY WE GIVE
“Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.”
Jesus came to fulfill the old testament not to abolish it, with that truth we see bible teaches us a baseline in giving as a tithe, a tenth from your increase belonging to the Lord. We believe as we surrender our whole life to Christ Jesus, that as Christ gave all of Himself for our ransom we ought to do the same in every way. We are no longer bound by the law but we are made righteous and free by the precious Blood of Jesus. As we worship God in every part of our life, the tithe is only a basis to begin with that our church community will grow stronger together willing to sacrifice above and beyond, giving 100% of our life, service, blessings, time and love to spread the gospel to the nations.
WHERE WE GIVE
STRENGTHENING THE LOCAL CHURCHWe are based in the heart of Westend, dealing with both financial and economic class differences in the same area it can become overwhelming on how to help effectively. We are excited to testify of life’s been dramatically changed and how God is using us to shine forth his light to the drug addicts, the homeless and the neglected.
LOCAL OUTREACHWe are blessed to have an open door given to us with the council’s approval. With our Street Van Positioned on Boundary St in Westend We are able to offer food, for those who are not able to provide for themselves and in doing so are able to give hope and spread the love and forgiveness of Jesus.
We currently have initivates running in Easter and Christmas to support the local community and for those who maybe doing it tough during that time. Feeding programs, food bags and gifts are some of the ways we are bringing change to families. We are looking to stretch and offer this kind of help throughout the year.

Join us on our Sunday service, we provide the opportunity to give with cash, credit card or cheque. You will find giving envelopes and information on how to complete these.
